My Mellow Afternoon

So I just got back from grabbing bubble tea with my friend LB. We wandered into a Chinese dress store cuz I want to have a Chinese dress made. Then we started talking to the shop owner, and we found out that she runs a model team of dancers - and since LB likes to dance we started asking her if the dance club was open and if LB could potentially join and dance with them.

She paused for a second, looked at LB up and down, said, "you are not too short. And you look okay. I guess you can be on the list when there are spots open in my model team." ---_____---!!!!!! LB and I were both speechless.

Then later as we were walking out of the door, she said jokingly to me, "so it's only her that wants to be in the dance/model team, you don't want to?"

I replied, "I'm too short." And I lifted the bottom of my pants, "I'm wearing high heels."

The expression on her face was priceless. Shockingly she said, "OH you are wearing high heels ALREADY???"

Yea. That was my mellow afternoon.
